Up to now, mainly modified barrel agitator stations taken from the painting technology sector were used for the stirring and subsequent processing of casting resins in 200-litre barrels. However, these stations neither allowed for nor met the special demands of the different casting resins. Thus, conventional barrel agitator stations are unable to guarantee the sufficient sealing of the barrels for example. This is required to prevent irreparable damage to the expensive resins when using moisture-sensitive dispensing materials in a very hot and humid environment over a longer period of time. Another problem is that the casting resin cannot be placed in a vacuum and processed directly in the barrel. The Barrel Agitator Station overcomes these problems. In addition it has temperature control, stirring abilities and functions as infinitely-variable evacuation which results in bubble-free preparation.
