By pressing a button, the exact position of the magazine can be learned via camera recognition. In addition, the grippers can be sorted chaotically thanks to unique codes. The machine automatically selects the correct gripper. Also, the system supports the setup of a new product: product layout and gripper description are compared and the appropriate grippers are suggested. The intelligent gripper management of the newly developed Divisio 5100 allows the selection of a gripper without operator intervention. In order to ensure the autonomy and flexibility of the fully automatic depaneling system, a gripper magazine with up to 10 places can be integrated. The system automatically detects which magazine places are inserted. An automatic teach-in of the exact position is realized by the camera system on the handling axis. It takes two reference bores per magazine place and calculates the position.
