By splitting a full-size MES into individual cloud licenses, the price curve could be flattened so that even small customers can benefit from the performance of a large MES. The service offers them all the functions from whose efficiency only large companies have so far been able to benefit. Customers log into the system and upload the production data. After this data has been checked, a production plan is displayed, which has to be checked and released by the planner. Production can then start instantly. The monthly license fee includes tailor-made cloud software, updates and service. Investments, server capacity or internal IT support are unnecessary. The license is scalable, it adapts to the number of machines and the functional requirements at any time. Thanks to an open MES data interface, all production systems can be precisely mapped.
