Thereby, the system can be operated either with condensation only, convection only or in combination of convection and condensation soldering processes including the vacuum option without changeover times, etc. The combination of a convection soldering system with vacuum and the condensation soldering option makes it possible to combine both processes in only one system. The flexibility of the temperature profiling and the applicable atmosphere (air, N2 and/or GaldenTM) achieved allows the realisation of high-quality solder joints in assemblies with large differences in thermal masses of the components.
